DOUGLAS H. KIM, U.S. IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY
Douglas H. Kim is the son of immigrants who moved to the U.S. from Korea. He knows firsthand the problems and hardships involved in immigration. Mr. Kim practices Immigration Law in all 50 states and is able to provide sound legal counsel to clients already in the United States and to those who are considering immigration to the U.S. He also served as a director in South America for a large, multinational corporation where he also gained broad experience in creating and reviewing international business contracts. Besides being a member of the American Immigration Attorneys Association (AILA), Mr. Kim is also fluent in Korean, Spanish and English.

Mr. Kim was educated in the United Stated from elementary school through law school. He understands the American educational system, and he knows the special needs of foreign students and children of immigrants throughout the immigration process.
Mr. Kim has an extensive background in international business. He ran an import/export trading business between South America, South Korea, and the United States. He also managed the offices in South America for a large, multinational company. His experience enables him to provide insightful and beneficial legal solutions for foreign nationals who are interested in pursuing business opportunities in the United States. Similarly, Mr. Kim has firsthand knowledge of intracompany transfer of employees relocating to and from the United States. Additionally, his expertise includes creating and reviewing international business contracts.
He believes in getting to know his clients in a personal way, not just as business contacts. Having lived and worked in different parts of the world, he understands and respects the cultures of different nationalities. He spends time with his clients to understand what their needs and goals are in both the short-term and the long-term. By understanding each client's situation in detail, he can determine what are the most effective and surest legal solutions available. In immigration law, attorney's letters along with properly filed applications are integral factors of successful outcomes. The attorney can write convincing letters with more detailed information about the clients only when he truly understands the client's situations. Mr. Kim also speaks Korean and Spanish fluently, and is a member of the American Immigration Attorneys Association (AILA).
